Lauren Sanuw is a partner at Campbell Sanuw Law Offices, LLC, where she assists clients with estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate of decedent’s estates and real estate closings. For nine years prior to establishing Campbell Sanuw, Lauren ran her own law firm which specialized in estate planning, real estate law and family law.

For five consecutive years Lauren’s legal expertise has been recognized by Leading Lawyers, a peer recommended resource of distinguished lawyers in Illinois. From 2017-2021 Lauren has been named an Emerging Lawyer, a distinction reserved for the top two percent of attorneys aged 40 or younger or those who have practiced law for less than 10 years.

In 2021 Lauren was also recognized by the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) who named her to their Honor Roll for outstanding pro bono work in the Probate Court Assistance Program. Lauren has volunteered with CVLS, Chicago’s first and pre-eminent pro bono civil legal aid provider, since they created the Probate Court Assistance Program in 2016.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a double major in Psychology, and Criminology, Law and Justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, and was admitted to the bar in Illinois in 2012.

In her practice Lauren strives to provide personalized, high-quality legal expertise to the community where she grew up. The relationships she’s developed with clients are her favorite part of the job, and she values the opportunity to develop their estate planning and provide solutions for their legal issues.

Lauren lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her partner, Nathan, and dog, Mateo. Away from work, Lauren is an avid chef who hasn’t met a kitchen gadget she didn’t love. To relax she likes to watch sports and true crime series. The person she admires most in the world is her mom, who, as a single mother, modeled independence, hard work, patience, and compassion.

Rich Campbell is a partner at Campbell Sanuw Law Offices, LLC. Rich is a former partner and head of the Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice at Mayer Brown LLP.

Mr. Campbell concentrates his practice on estate planning for high net worth clients, probate and trust administration law, representation of not-for-profit organizations and private foundations, and representation of closely-held businesses. Mr. Campbell has advised clients on sophisticated estate tax planning techniques, including GRATs, QPRTs, SLATs, family limited partnerships, sales to defective grantor trusts, generation-skipping tax and dynasty trust planning, charitable remainder and lead trusts, and insurance trusts.

Rich is a frequent lecturer to estate planning professionals and to the general public on estate planning matters, estate administration, and ownership succession issues. He has been a regular lecturer for the American Bankers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the RMS McGladrey National Tax Conference, the Chicago Bar Association, the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and the Chicago-Kent Federal Tax Institute.

Mr. Campbell earned his B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois, where he was a summa cum laude graduate and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1983, he earned his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois, where he was an editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.

Rich is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is also a ranked lawyer for Private Wealth Law by Chambers International. He is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and a member and former President of the Trusts and Estates Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. Rich has also been named as a Leading Lawyer, Super Lawyer, and Best Lawyers in America for many years.

Rich has been honored by the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Volunteer Legal Services for his work in creating and administering the Probate Court Assistance Program (PCAP), which matches volunteer attorneys with pro bono clients who need assistance in opening probate estates for deceased relatives.
